Davis County Museums Present

Indigenous Presence in Early Davis County

During April the combined local museums in Davis County will each present programming related to the native presence in early Davis County. View DCM Facebook Group for county-wide information. The Shoshone had been living in the area far into the distant past at the time the pioneers began to settle.

A display of artifacts owned by the Kaysville – Fruit Heights Mueum will be available for viewing in the north foyer of the Kaysville City Administrative Building. A description of plantlife used by the Northwestern Shoshone will be on display and children’s activities can be scheduled during the month by picking up an information sheet.

Art Exhibition Redux

The museum’s Historic Art Exhibit Redux has moved to Fruit Heights. Due to the size of the city’s display space, the exhibit previously shown in Kaysville City will be available in stages in the Fruit Heights City Hall. The first set of paintings is now installed and other portions will replace the current display every few months.
